Professional bike fitting is designed for cyclists of all levels, from recreational weekend riders to competitive athletes. Whether you are experiencing pain while riding, preparing for a race, increasing your training volume, or simply looking for a more efficient position, a professional bike fit can help you get the most out of your cycling.
A professional bike fit goes far beyond simply adjusting your saddle height. It is a comprehensive assessment of how your body, your bike, and your riding goals work together. Using movement analysis and evidence-based biomechanical assessment, our goal is to help you:
Identify movement patterns and risk factors that may contribute to pain or injury.
Analyze pedaling technique and cycling position to improve mechanical efficiency.
Assess movement symmetry to reduce unnecessary overload and support long, comfortable rides.
Every cyclist is unique. Your body structure, flexibility, strength, mobility, injury history, and riding style all influence your optimal riding position. A proper fit adjusts your bike to your current physical abilities and goals.
Key benefits include:
Enhanced Comfort: Ride longer with better control and confidence, free from unnecessary stress on your body.
Injury Prevention: Proactively address the root causes of overuse injuries, which often develop gradually after repeated, prolonged rides.
Optimized Performance: For competitive cyclists, we optimize pedaling mechanics to reduce energy loss and support more efficient power production.
During your session, we assess your current riding position alongside your body mechanics, movement patterns, cycling goals, and equipment setup.
Based on our findings, we make precise, evidence-based adjustments to your bike, which may include:
Saddle height, setback, angle, shape, and width
Handlebar position, height, width, and rotation
Stem length and angle
Brake lever and shifter positioning
Cleat position and shoe setup (including insoles or additional support if needed)
Crank length considerations
Beyond the Bike: If we identify specific movement limitations, asymmetry, or muscle weakness, we will provide you with targeted exercises or treatment recommendations to improve your physical condition and support a stronger, healthier cycling posture. All recommendations are based on current academic research in cycling biomechanics, injury prevention, and performance optimization, combined with years of practical coaching experience.
